I'm so sorry Cynthia. I'm sure it's really hard. When I've talked to a few neighbours these past couple of days they generally say that Victor "kept to himself." Which is true. But I'm not sure if that was he wanted or if it was a fear of rejection (or just regular shyness). Obviously I don't know, but when I saw how friendly he became as he warmed up to my wife (which did take well over a year), it seemed to me that he would have liked more connection, but didn't know how to make it happen. I hope someone comes along that you're able to build a connection to. My very best - Jon
